GW2, the multi property auction division of Ganly Walters hosted their most recent auction this morning in the Pavilion at Leopardstown Racecourse. The GW2 auction again had a large number of parties attending on the day which proves that the demand is still there for well-priced properties.
At the Auction this morning, 13 properties were offered with many lots far exceeding their reserve. In total 70% of all properties offered were sold under the hammer, or sold before auction and GW2 are currently negotiating on the remainder. Total sales exceeded €1,000,000.
14 The Courtyard, Kilcarberry Business Park- AMV €160,000- Sold at auction for €280,000
39 The Bridge, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford- AMV €30,000- Sold at auction for €69,000
Robert Ganly, Ganly Walters Managing Director and Auctioneer who conducted the auction commented that “given the strong numbers of parties in attendance and the pre-auction interest levels, it underlines the continued demand for auctions and the gradual shift from auctions being dominated by receiver properties to the increased supply from private vendors”
GW2 are currently assembling properties to be placed in their June 28th 2016 auction, with a closing date for entries at the end of May.
